This month’s “winner” is Derick Pelletier and his 2008 Victory Vegas. This right here is what makes a bike unique…by not being afraid to take a chance, and do some wicked cool mods!
Here’s what Derick tells us about his bike:
Hey guys this is my 08 victory Vegas. It started off very similar to a Harley dyna basic cruiser. I added a Harley front fairing inner and outer. Loaded it with all boom audio 6.5 speakers, a 300 watt Rockford amp. It had 4 speakers, then added a set of 4 inch stretched saddle bags which had another set of boom audio 6.5 speakers for a total of 6 on the bike wired in parallel. Added a factory Victory tach. Had tons of red LED underglow and other various places. Put a Harley crash bar on. Made my own handle bars along with every bracket to mount the bags and fairing. Used a set of Harley quick detach back rest brackets to mount the tour pack so it could come off. Put the victory king pin rear fender. Had the factory swept pipes. S&S intake. Power Commander. Lowered 2 inches. Progressive front springs. I refoamed and gel padded the seat to be lower. Put a steering stabilizer on, and made my own wrap called “morning wood” look closely and you’ll see why. Bike was amazing. I sold it to buy a cross country better suited for long rides. Yet to be customized. Yes I used lots of Harley parts because Victory made nothing and Harley parts are a dime a dozen. What do you guys think? All work was done by me and my busted knuckles haha.
What do I think? I say Friggin Awesome!!
